Monica Pareschi is the author of Inverness (Polidoro 2024) and È di vetro quest'aria (This Air Is a Glass), Italic Pequod, Ancona 2014 (Renato Fucini Prize 2014, finalist at the Bergamo Prize 2015, special mention at the Arturo Loria Prize 2014). A renowned translator, she has translated and edited, among others, Doris Lessing, James Ballard, Bernard Malamud, Willa Cather, Edith Wharton, Shirley Jackson, Muriel Spark, Jesmyn Ward, Charlotte and Emily Brontë, Christopher Isherwood, Hisham Matar, Paul Auster, Mark Haddon, Claire Keegan, and Jean Stafford. In 2020, she won the Von Rezzori International Prize and the Letteraria Prize for her translation of Wuthering Heights. In 2023 he won the Capalbio Foundation Award with his translation of Little Things of Nothing by Claire Keegan for Einaudi.
