Title: And My Name Was Clifford.

Author: Andrea Tognasca

Synopsis: "And My Name Was Clifford" recounts the protagonist's journey into the depths of his apartment building, searching for a place in the world and fleeing from the words that tell lies and the police who sum things up. There are vaguely sinister characters and others that are decidedly stinky. There's a great love that no longer exists and a cook on the sidewalk. It's the story of someone lost along the way, who only has his novels in his head and, for lack of anything better, the desire to be someone else.
