“A style that, despite its anagraphic and literary youth, is already adult, recognizable and highly personal [...] A free and unpretentious prose, so rare in our literary panorama, and which in fact has its roots, at least in my opinion, in the contemporary North American novel (from Fante to Bellow up to the Richler of Barney's Version ) [A] very successful example of a modern anti-hero set in a provincial reality which, however, beyond any cliché, appears more friendly and welcoming than gloomy and pitiful.”
– Andrea Vignini, ValdichianaOggi
“[A] novel with fresh, new and original prose [...] the melancholy is well balanced by peaks of irony and therapeutic cynicism.”
– Andrea Bressa, Panorama.it
“Intense and engaging.”
– Gabriele Ottaviani, Conventionals ,
